FEED500

In the spirit of Ramadan we will be preparing 500 meals, distributing them amongst the homeless and dropping off the rest at shelters and to those in need all on the same day.
 

The Prophet Muhammed (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

“O people! Spread the greeting of peace, feed (the poor and needy) behave kindle to your relatives, offer prayer when others are asleep, and (thus) enter paradise in peace”

Imam Al-Tirmidhi

 

 

“(The righteous are those) who feed the poor, the orphan and the captive for the love of God, saying: ‘We feed you for the sake of God Alone; we seek from you neither reward nor thanks.'”.

The Holy Quran, 76:8-9

 

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

“Feed the hungry, visit the sick….”
