Islamic Scholastic Competition
Writing for the Prophet – Reviving the Light Within
Our aim is to bring students together from different institutions to develop leadership, promote communication, and inspire creativity while gaining a deeper understanding of our faith. We do this through our annual tournaments where our teachers choose the winners.
A competition that is all about Eulogy; eulogizing and commending the holy Prophet (peace be upon him). It can be a poem, a prose, a short story, or even an essay in praise of our Beloved. We will be looking for our budding writers to demonstrate spirituality, creativity, distinctiveness, craft and a longing for love of the Prophet expressed through their writings. It’s about connecting of Souls, understanding God through him (peace be upon him).
“Truly, Allah and His angels shower blessings on the Prophet. O you who believe! Call for (Divine) blessings on him and salute him with a (worthy) salutation” (Quran 22:56)
“Assuredly! You are of a tremendous character” (Quran 68:4)
Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
“The closest of people to me on the Day of Resurrection will be those who send the most blessings upon me.”
An extraordinary array of activities are planned with Shaykh Babikir Ahmed Babikir, which include Quran, Nasheeds, Qaseeda, and Poetry performances to ensure a delightful time throughout the event.
